If I had unlimited $$ I would buy Spitfire MK923 5JZ and either put it back to airworthy condition, or keep it the way it is and base it at CWH.

I've always thought that I'd like to have an A6M "ZERO". You know, just to putt around in. Fly from point A to point B, just to see people's reactions, spend some time at a small airport and then come back home.

Well,

if you're gonna let me have a choice...or perhaps a small collection of my own. Then I would have to choose first and foremost....a P-47...any model, but prefer the bubble canopy, with a very fresh paint job and very fresh engine.

BUT...........the other choices would have to be either a P-38, B-25, PBY, B-26 Marauder, and as long as I am dreaming here.............a DeHavilland Mosquito. The PBY and Marauder would be for bringing friends to airshows...the others....PLAY TIME !!!

Single-seat: A new-build Messerschmitt Bf 109E-1 or K-4.

Multi-seat: Douglas TBD-1 or Lockheed Orion 9. :)
