hassan1, interesting pictures, thanks for posting!

K857 in the first and second batches (double-post) is the only single-seater with the full-size rudder and no attachment point for arrester gear I´ve seen. At the top of the third batch, there's another photo of such an aircraft but it can't be identified.

(I actually believed the K-series were two-seaters and the L-series were single-seaters but obviously not that simple.)

Of those delivered to Pakistan and Iraq, I wonder how many were Furies and how many were denavalized Sea Furies? Not too many of the former variant, I guess!

Hassan1. Th am you so much for adding to this thread! So interesting. The Griffon Spitfire and pints shot has me looking in the background...are those Vultee Vengemce aircraft?

Also K850 and K858 are both ex Navy Sea Furies and still retain the carrier landing gear. On the last picture of K858 is the RN fuselage rounded just oversprayed with chamoflage brown?

Tall tail on the right, cranked wing on the left..looks like they are Vengeance.

I think only K858 was ex Royal Navy (ex VX305). Serials K850-K854 were newbuilds. K850 was originally built for the Iraqi contract, hence its different appearance.
