I could be wrong, but I believe the Corsair having flap work done is actually having the machine guns synchronized.

Too bad the USMC/Navy did not have access to color film at that period. Color pictures would have been magnificent.

I am just amazed at the quantities and different types( bombers, fighters,dive bombers, observation) of aircraft that the US was able to supply to the Dutch Air Force, the RAAF, and the New Zealand Air Force and still produce enough for our own units.There must have been a heck of a lot of spare parts left over after the war.
