A friend of mine was the morning DJ on the USS Kitty Hawk's radio station back in '68-'69, so I 'shopped this for his Christmas card:

Here's a photo of my late, great friend Tom Finkler, taken in front of Santabou at DaNang in 1969. It's from his page on the Caribou Association site at http://www.c-7acaribou.com/album/tfphotos/tf_083.htm:

He should have been 72 today. Blue skies, Tommy!

Many years ago, I drew a Christmas card of a MIG-29 flying formation with Santa in silhouette against the moon, with the fat man waving. I recycled it as an editorial cartoon soon afterward for the local newspaper, where I worked.
Geez, that was 1990 I think. I need to find the image and scan it for stuff like this...
I don't have anything else of my own for this theme that I can think of. I draw my own Christmas card each year for my wife and I, but it's always pup-related (we have an adorable little dachshund/poodle cross breed). Two years ago, we were between dogs and didn't own a pup then, so it was Santa buzzing a narrow gauge train the snow...
