Has anyone got a nice clear image of the original Yak- 3 which was on display at the MOF for a time? Looking specifically for an outdoor photo (I have indoor). It was displayed outside on at least one occasion (2012).
PM me if you can help, thanks.
TIA
Dave

Where is this one today ? I just Google searched and only found stories of replicas. Was great seeing it when the museum got it.

Back in Moscow. The fighter was the mount of ace Boris Yeremin and loaned to MOF for three years to promote the new build Yaks. It was returned in 2014, after intervention of the Russian Foreign Minister..... 25 years later!

I thought this plane was originally in the Champlin Collection in Arizona.

I have a few that I took, but I have not scanned them yet. If this is for a publication or something, PM me your requirements and I'll try to get to it this weekend.

This clip came up in my YouTube recommendations, it's a Russian TV news report about this Yak-3 going on display at the Vadim Zadorozhny Technical Museum, Krasnogorsk, Russia a few years ago. All in Russian, but some good detail and cockpit shots.
