Military Aviation Museum, Virginia Beach, has announced they will host a version of “Warbirds over the beach” on June 19-20. Pretty much same air show but with certain restrictions due to COVID. Ordered tickets and booked hotel and I need to experience an air show really bad. Hopefully they can pull it off.

One of my bucket list airshows. Hopefully next year I will be able to make it.

Minor point of clarification - the Warbird Weekend 19-20 June doesn't replace Warbirds over the Beach. It is intended to fill in for Flying Proms which couldn't be held this year due to COVID. Warbirds over the Beach will happen in October this year.

Is there a difference - is it a smaller show?

June will be a smaller show than October in a sense of I don't believe there will be many visiting aircraft. Not sure what the schedule of events on the ground is going to be.
