My daughter is staying with us for the summer and she brought her dog... a 9 month old labradoodle...
The setup, I have 3 x 100-ft ethernet cables running from the router in the living room, upstairs to the bedroom which is where the WIX HQ is located (previously mentioned daughter having taken over what was my office). I work nights and when I woke up this morning I found roughly two feet of ethernet cable x3, conveniently chewed up into 2 inch lengths.
Suffice it to say I was less than pleased. My daughter ordered the replacement cable and hopefully I'll have internet back by Sunday.
Dogs... Kids...

Ouch! As a kid my grandfather had a German short hair bird dog. regardless of what training he did this dog was nuts. It chewed like 3 x 50 - 100 foot garden hoses into 2 foot sections. I remember him on the phone with a guy telling him what a good dog he was and yes the price really was that low. . . ROFL

I can't believe that any of you are falling for this completely unimaginative excuse.
I haven't spent the last 34 years in educational admin to be hoodwinked by some amateurish Scott Rose impersonator.
Ok, Mister SCOTT ROSE: To be legally excused, you'll need to provide photographic evidence of this daughter, her dog, and said destruction (actually, a phone call from your mom will suffice).
Until then...

Well as soon as I get the internet back on my computer I will provide photographic evidence. As for the phone call... well I'll have to hook up a line to her urn...

(no worries, we weren't close so the humor rings true... rings... get it?)

When the new cables arrive, you could coat them with something that the dog doesn't like. Something that tastes spicy or bitter... and try to avoid stuff that has a laxative effect on the dog!

Thanks for keeping it all in jest, Scott, as intended! I think WIXers just want to see a pic of your canine culprit with the evidence.
As for imaginative excuses, the teens I work with are a constant source of joy:
"But Mr. K, when the mother ship that was hovering over the neighbors' house repositioned over MY house, I just couldn't focus on my term paper any more..."

Since you faithfully supplied pics, it's only proper that I offer a starting point to wok the dog:

Just leave an extension cord plugged in & run it with the other cables, Dog will soon learn...

Don't think I haven't considered it.
Oh yeah, back online. Finally.
