Before the mini-gun

Thu Jul 08, 2021 4:21 pm

I found the book "The Gun That Made The Twenties Roar" by William J. Helmer - ISBN O-88227-007-25 The Gun Room Press, 1979, and I am enjoying reading it.

John T. Thompson had ideas on mounting the Chicago Piano for air to ground use.

Is that signal gun a gunpowder powered whistle? The tubular airplane is pretty cool too. Thanks for posting Tulio. I missed Scott's original post of the Thompson array that Mike Furline linked to.

I have not yet reached the part where that device is ecplained. If you did not hear the shots, a whistle will do :drink3:

I too, missed Scott's posting. Thanks, Mike!!
