From the looks of the Blue Angel's schedule, they have added Thunder Over Michigan to their show schedule this year. This will make it the second airshow this year where both the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels have flown at the same show.

If true, I am interested to see whether they slot the Blues in the morning and how that shifts around the rest of the lineup. Looking forward to hearing more!

Edit: Looks pretty official from the Blues standpoint since they announced it. Interested to hear what the Thunder crew has planned!

It would be nice but I doubt it considering they didn't do in Kansas City (July 3-4) when both teams were there.

I stand corrected, none of the reviews of the show I read mentioned it.

It may not have been a Super Delta, but they also did a combined fly over much of Long Island / New York City and Stamford, CT.

OK, I found out what happened in Kansas City. They did fly a modified Superdelta with 4 Thunderbirds. However, it wasn't during the airshow which was why no one mentioned it. It was flown after the show on Sunday as they were departing over the city. If they do the same in Detroit I won't see it as I'll be on my long drive home.

Also, the F-35 and Thunderbirds will not be staging at Willow Run.

I'll be there for the practice days, not sure about the shows.
I usually hang on the outside and buy a ticket anyhow for support, but does not seem an option with the drive-in format.
