Great shots! The CAF P-40 looks great in her new scheme. Also cool to see the Cavanaugh P-40 out and about. Would be neat if the CAF ever had the means to acquire a real P-36 from somewhere to use during the Tora show. Let alone replace some of the gaps in the collection. But the days of seeing the fleet expand I think are in the past now. :(

Good to see you this weekend, Ryan. Great shots. It was a fun show for sure.

Thanks. We worked hard to get is as accurate as we could as applied on an N-model.

While a P-36 is unlikely due to its rarity, we are actively adding to the CAF fleet.

I've got a ton of photos, due to being there all three days and having a bit of extra access, so bear with me!

Last time I checked, there were a couple of replicas being built by a shop with the capabilities to do it right. Anyone know the status of those?

The Zero never knew what hit him... just started smoking and a gear dropped down as Taylor and Mark bounced him. (Not really, but fun shot, regardless...)

Well that's certainly exciting to hear! Any info on what birds have been recently picked up? I'm assuming trainers, but that's still great nonetheless!

I've been following the build of the prototype of the 1/3rd scale P-36 from Scale Birds in my home state. http://scalebirds.com/
Hoping for someone to make a 1/2 or even 1/1 scale replica.
