Excellent video of fire fighting operation by Cal Fire

This showed up on the Fire Aviation website today. Very good video giving a pilot’s eye view of keeping a fire from growing. None of the usual B.S.

That was a great a video thanks for posting. The tail reloading station on the turbo tracker sure looks handy- nice to be away from the props. They usually fly single pilot?

Yes, they fly single pilot in the Turbine S-2 and also did so when they flew the piston engine version as tankers.

Nice video! I love it when we get these "in situ" videos like this. It really shows how much skill it takes to make make these things happen.
