The Flying Bulls appearance is going to be incredible! A few others to add:

Acemaker T-33
B-29 Superfortress "Doc"

This article also mentions the Stockton Field Aviation Museum A-26 and an A-26 gathering as possibilities: https://vintageaviationnews.com/aviatio ... a-26c.html

MAM has also stated its intent to bring its A6M3 Zero if it's ready.

I am hoping Walt Bowe will bring the P-36. From what I understand, he also has a couple vintage restorations that are nearing completion, including a 1929 Cirigliano SC-1 and Pasped Skylark.

Of note from today's meeting, the Tallichet family's B-17 'The Movie Memphis Belle' is tentatively scheduled to be at Oshkosh this summer. Not mentioned in the meeting, the CAF Airbase Arizona's B-17 'Sentimental Journey' is also scheduled to attend (along with their B-25). Other large bombers tentatively scheduled to be at Oshkosh this year include the CAF's B-24 'Diamond Lil', the Shoen brother's PB4Y Privateer and the B-29 'Doc'.

Also of great interest to me, it was mentioned today that three flying P-38s are tentatively scheduled to be at Oshkosh this summer. Obviously one of them is the Red Bull/Flying Bulls example. Another that I suspect is among those three scheduled is the Planes of Fame Air Museum's P-38 '23 Skidoo', which will be performing at the Duluth Airshow in Minnesota, July 11-12. The third flying P-38 would most likely be Fagen Fighters' P-38 'Skat III'.

At least two new Mustang restorations planning to be there (maybe three?), and Butch Schroeder's P-40K, which was supposed to make its post-restoration debut last year, but had to cancel last-minute (a prop issue, as I recall?).

A couple more possibilities for the P-38's would be "Glacier Girl" since Rod Lewis usually brings several warbirds to Oshkosh and the other could be "White 33" as it was just purchased by Dan Freidkin...

I don't recall Dan Friedkin ever bringing or sending any aircraft to Oshkosh, so I don't anticipate that happening with 'White 33', but we'll see.

Yes Sir I thought about that but am hoping maybe Steve Hinton will bring it... It would also be nice to get it judged after all the beautiful work that went into the restoration...

I've definitely seen 'Bum Steer' at Oshkosh, I think it was back in 2019.

It would be great to see White 33 at Oshkosh for the Richard Bong tribute they're planning!

You're right, it was there in 2019 for the Heritage Flight displays (otherwise kept away from the public during the rest of the event, as Heritage Flight warbirds are).

BTW, Charlie 'Tuna' Hainline, who has flown a number of Dan Friedkin's warbirds in the Heritage Flight program over the years, and who also already had experience flying 'White 33' in Colorado (as chief pilot for the National Museum of WWII Aviation), was the one who flew 'White 33' to Davis Monthan for Heritage Flight training.
