There are indeed 70 or 80 Bird Dogs still in Thailand but they are all MAP-supplied airframes. The problem has always been that they are not the Thai's to sell. Tango Squadron, of which I am the UK representative at the moment, has them officially on loan.

So is the Barnstormers ad offically a scam then? How did the Thais obtain their Bearcats?

Good point Bdk, I've read the Thai acquired their Bearcats thru MAP in 1951.
