Liberty Belle at BIA

Wed Jul 26, 2006 8:22 pm

So a guy comes into the Post Office yesterday and says to me "A B-17 flew over my house yesterday!" I, being the ever vigilant watcher of the airpatch, says "No, I didn't see any B-17s around". So tonight I happened to get a little closer to the grass at the end of the parking lot at GA and what do I see peeking out past the end of the hanger, but a nice, fat, curved wing tip. So I go back to GA were they inform me she has been since Monday, will be here for the rest of the week and lets go for a ride in the courtesy van. Will post Photos when developed. Should be before X-mas!

Just got Notice from HE WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS that Liberty Belle is going to be in Portland, Me, the week of the 8/10-8/15, open for tours and if you are really lucky Tom Reilly will still be with the aircraft(He's here in Bangor with it, as the Lurker spent most of this afternoon with him).

More Cadet Photos(He's got the Digital!)
