Can ayone shed any light on a Prentice reported as airworthy in the U.S ?

Hello David--

It's a very long while back but I do recall seeing photos showing a Prentice at a stateside airshow. As I recall it was painted in WWII-era camo with the prototype "P" marking. The reg'n N1041P sticks in my mind, but that might be wrong: as I say it was ages ago...

This was taken in 1991 or 92 at the Museum of Flying, If I remember right it was on loan and hardly ever flew, I was there working for the summer on the Bearcat and Zero as my dad was involved with there restorations at the time. I spent most nights and weekends watching the planes going in and out at Santa Monica, I took to many photo's to count :)

It is sitting derelict at the Camarillo, California airport. At least it looks derelict.

The American Aeronautical Foundation is a creation of the folks at Challenge Publications I believe. Here's the B-25:

Thanks for the replies guys! She looks decidedly out of place over there.
Makes you wonder why anyone would go to the trouble of getting one out to the U.S!
