Any of you Wixers out there know if there are any videos available of old firebombers in action, especially B-17's and other WWII warbirds?

no, but the u.s. govt is now using a modified dc -10 in the wild fire area out west. saw it on last night's news. it carries a huge load of fire retardent!!

Actually, there was a video out about 20 years ago showing all types of firebombers in action. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the name Phillip Wallick was attached to the video in some way. I might be mistaken.
Check Ebay or maybe some specialized video stores. I actually rented it from the New England Air Museum. Neat stuff, but I don't think they have the tape or rent videos anymore.
