I was in the neighborhood the other day, so I stopped by to see how the work was coming along.

Take a look at the fit on the horz stab fairing. That’s the quality of sheet metal work that I want to do when I grow up.

There’s also a nice little restaurant on the airport, but today everyone was sitting outside.

Okay. I give up...where is all this taking place. Beautiful scenery...The workmanship is outstanding!

You just can't find craftsmen any where in the world today. Do those guys really let that kind of work be photographed. Should be ashamed! And what ugly scenery, after those beautiful shots of Afghanistan and Iraq, now thats scenery!

The cedar must be in full bloom in the hilly country

Thanks for the pictures and the update, looks like they are located somewhere in the Allgäu perhaps?

Eric--

Thanx for posting those. Great to see Red 7 coming along so well. Got a good chuckle out of the Red 7 donation piggy bank too. Must get a piggy bank and paint it to look like a Sea Fury, then put it where all the really generous-to-a-fault people are...

Ah my beloved Deutschland, I can't wait to get back there, next July. These pictures of the scenery and the restaurant illustrate why I like it.

Whoops! I guess it would be nice to know where it is, huh? It’s at Albstadt-Degerfeld, just outside of Bitz, Germany.

Here’s the official website.

Very nice Eric, thanks for posting these. Let's hope that they are a little more circumspect in its operation next time.

A reminder of what it looked like last summer. I can almost hear the growl of the D-B again - just gorgeous.........
