Currently there is as i understand a ex Airspray A-26 Invader flying across the Pacific bound for Australia

It will be painted as a Korean war era USAF 13th LMB Chadwick series red warbird.

It will be based in QLD

It will be the first true flying A26 in oz if it does get flying well

Here is the ltest on the A-26 as of today:
Fra: Darcy Hankins [mailto:hank2800@...]

We are still in Hilo Hawaii with the Airplane(A-26) unfortunately again
headwinds and storms have delayed us another day due to adding mileage
and possible fuel shortage to an already long(2250NM) trip.We were
getting ready at 6 am and loading the airplane when we decided to
hold. After going to the restaurant for breakfast about 7am we were
rocked by a large earthquake.Everyhtiing was moving back and forth, cars
in the parking lot were bucking sidewaays, car alarms going off,and
people holding onto walls. It was an incredible feeling and went on for a
long time and still aftershocks going on,appears no damage around here
at Hilo,When I went back to my room end table lamps had fallen on the
bed, that was about all and people putting patio doors back in there
tracks etc.No Tsunami threat but since living in Thailand for the Asian
Tsunami,I'll keep one eye on the water, when it starts to receed this
time,I think I'll head for the mountains!Hope to proceed with this trip
again tommorrow.

Good luck with your flight Matt.

It's a long oversea leg.

Please keep us posted & send us pictures of the adventure when all done.

it is not my flight, I am very happy to be at home in Phoenix.
The only A-26 flight I have coming up is when we bring the Invader here from Greybull.
I got the info from the A-26 Invader group on Yahoo.
