We were in Surgarland,Texas today and they have a new FBO building. Walking around I notice a few pictures on the wall. Tumblweed, CAF's P-63 in civie paint, N-191H. A Spitfire, NH238. The best was a photo that Jack Cook might not have, oh no, say it ain't so, 6 P-51's in South America Camo sitting on the ramp. Tulio, you need to see this photo as well. Its in a case by the front door and the other are on the wall to the right towards the pilot den... Its nice to see the old days. I took some shot with my cell camera, so if anyone wants to see it, email me....

Take care,

Lynn

Lynn,

Would you please e-mail me the shots of the Mustangs?

These were Guatemalan Air Force, imported back to the USA by Dr. Hull; the pictures used to hang at the Sugarland Airport terminal, until the city took over. If this is the shot that I recall, shows the Mustangs in front of the Guatemala Air Force Base at La Aurora, prior to their return flight to the USA.

I have been looking for copies of these pictures since 1985! That's when I first went to Sugarland and noticed the photos.

Through the years, I have tried to get copies from John Hull, and he has agreed, but either he is traveling, or I am, and we have never been able to get the copies.

My e-mail goes to you via PM.

Saludos, y GRACIAS!!!

Tulio
