The Cavanaugh Flight Museum will be recieving it's latest addition monday. Museum pilot Stewart Dawson, will be delivering A Sea Fury from Ezell's shop to the museum.

Congratulations Doug! That is the Sea Fury I (and many others) got their Fury checkouts in. I was fortunate enough to have the late Neil Anderson as my check pilot/instructor. I hope y'all have great fun with it!

Whats next? What Cavanaugh needs is an AT-10. Then it would have the only one other than USAF museum.

Ah the ex-Sea Fuzzy. At least for a while. In 1994 Stan Musick gave me a ride in her.

Nice.

Since you seem to be a Corsair fan (screen name) then I'm wondering if you know the status of the Cavanaugh F4U?

I spoke with Jim Cavanaugh about it and he mentioned there was an issue with the engine during the post-assembly evaluation. (?) I would have hoped the program would be back on track by now.

I received a voucher for a flight in the AT-6 as a gift earlier this year that I need to use. Are you piloting that plane? ;) If so, I need a flight while the plane gets a real workout...
