Had anyone ever heard of this recovery and knows anything about outcome for this unique aircraft ?

I believe she got scrapped in the end... a very sad end for a unique survivor. Never saw photos before though... thanks so much for posting the link... can anyone translate the text?

Engine and guns kept, the rest scrapped. Pity it was found in 1961 and not 2001

A real pity. You can see that the guy in the 12th picture was very excited about the find.
