Sorry, Let's try this again!

As promised, here are some pictures from the San Isidro Air Base from my trip in 2002. First up are pictures from my first trip in January 2002 of aircraft that sat in front of the Defense Ministry in Santo Domingo. These were subsequently moved to the airbase and restored by my return trip in November of 2002.

Great shots. The P-51 is the last of Gen. Miller's 'Millie G' aircraft and is a very historic machine in which he bought down a 262. I am occasionally in contact with one of the team which restored it, and they hope to have a small museum building in the future to include it in. General Miller has been consulted about it at the time of restoration.
