I carry all My gear(Canon T-90+T-50) all of the time. As I cross the airport coming and going to work, it pays off weekly(Ive caught 2 unanounced PBYs in the last couple of years). And after missing so many A/C(DC-7 Guppy conversion, a Shorts Belfast and an Avro Shackleton(CAF's?)) over the years, I learned my lesson. Got some nice shots of a Tri-Islander a couple of weeks ago. It's still here.

Shay, after missing the Harrier crash off Wright-Patt back in '97, I carry my camera with me at all times. I saw that plane go down but unfortunately didn't have either my camera or camcorder with me. Then some quick-thinking guy driving on 675 pulled what he called a "junk camera" out of his glovebox and got a shot just as the plane hit the ground

.
And, Tim.......I have a couple shots of THREE A-3s arriving at Wright-Patt back around 98 or so

. I'll have to dig them up and see if I can post them

Waynesville Shay....holy smokes you were in Pitts-ville. Did Mr. Hunter put on a show? My 1st Pitts flight was in his S2C.

Even though I'm not what most would consider to be a photog, I usually have some sort of camera with me whenever I leave the house.
I picked the habit up from my Dad... he was a bonafide shutterbug and carried his cameras all over the place most of the time. It was actually somewhat annoying sometimes because he would pull over to the side of the road quite alot and snap away... it's only since he's been gone that I've truly begun to 'understand'. And now, I myself have the urge to pull over quite a bit and document something that catches my eye, whether it's an airplane or not.

I never leave the ground/home without a camera...my first two weeks on tour I shot over 30 rolls of film. I bought a digital camera during week #3 after doing some quick math ;P My old Canon AE1 is collecting dust these days but its is still a great piece of gear. I still have all my dads old Nikons as well. I thought I had thousands of slides...shot over 15,000 digital pictures this year alone. That and a quarter will get me a cup of coffee.

I have to stand up for my camera phone. I carry my Sony Ericsosson K750i with me every were. It has a two meg camera and produces good results IF and it's a big IF, you are close enough. The digital zoom isn't much use though. You can also use it in realy low light too
Hear is a sample of a daylight shot
You didn't have to get too close to that one!
I would highly recomend the camera
