in line with the discussion in this thread, shouldn't the Me 262 be repainted in Watsons Whizzers colours as Beverley Anne / Screaming Meemie

From an Australian point of view I guess we traded this for the Connie that now graces our skies.
However, I sent an email to The Museum Of The USAF saying that I was disappointed that the the enemies of The USAF were represented in their museum and their allies were not....
Didn't recieve a reply.

getting back to the previously mentioned 109, how exactly do you deskin the fuselage, at least the entire rear portion? Isn't the skin back there actually the structure, besides a few longerons? To reskin the rear fuse would you not have to get new press-form sections and rivet them together with some longerons, effectively making a new rear section?
Anyways, at least they didn't paint it as Hartmann's.....oh wait, they did do that to the other one didn't they?
On that thought, should a thread be started entitled "Best & Worst Aircraft Paint Jobs"? You would list, in your opinion of course, what you consider the best and worse aircraft paint jobs, or would that be considered too offensive to aircraft owners? Magazines have best & worse articles all the time, after all...and it could be fun (for some). Moderator, thoughts?
