I got out one of my BlackSheep Books and took these Original Photos out, and the Original Orders for the remaining BlackSheep to meet up in California to be with Pappy again after he was released. Enjoy.

To be more accurate...Boyington with a coffee CUP.
That's some awfully "weak" lookin' coffee in the second picture.

Mudge the suspicious

Mudge, in the 2nd shot, you are probably seeing a reflection of the inside of the cup...it actually COULD be coffee, ya know...

Considering his infamous rambunctious and drunken antics, I wouldn't want to stand as close as this reporter - with Boyington giving him a size-up look like this!

RIP pappy

Thank you for the great pics.

In this picture with the reporter, it appears as though he might be thinking,
"Should I deck this guy or not?" It also looks like someone has him by the arm. That would probably be either to restrain him or to keep him from falling.

Mudge the observant

(Cynical, but observant. )

I'd rather have Boyington on my wing than John Kerry.

Seeing Joe Rosbert's image reminded me that years ago I used to volunteer in the booth next to his at OSH, and in the process got to "chew the fat" with him and his gracious wife quite a bit. Does anyone know if Joe and/or his missus are still with us?

TIA
