Jeez!!! Lucky guys. I went to that show the day before. Sounds like it was quite an unusual incident. Glad to see that everyone came through safely. Looks like the aircraft wasn't too dinged up either.

Cheers. R.

I got word that when they started inspecting the damage that it is pretty bad. The aircraft will probably be canibalized and be the first Super on a pole.

Was that Vin Diesel in the front seat, trying to pull some kind of "Fast and the Furious" drifting stunt? ;)

Whats wrong with that landing? Great parallel parking job. He just wanted to show the Blues a fancy parking job!

I wonder if they had the “anti-skid” off or it failed. I know on the “C” it had to be “on” for the beach and “off” for the Ship.

They did a great job of pulling a "Blues Brothers" parking stunt!

Kudo's to the announcer for keeping cool when they did the spin out.
He made it sound like a "normal" emergency high-speed taxi manuever,
almost like he's seen it everyday!
He was a pro!

If the pilot hadn't been as skillful, he could have easily have ended up running right through the parked Blue's F-18's. Also, if you'll notice, the backseater has his hands on the console the whole time so it looks like he wasn't planning on ejecting.
