Lets play ID that aircraft

This was taken many moons ago in front of the NMUSAF's restoration facility.

Any guess's as to the identity of this saber?

For starters it looks to be an H-model Sabre.

I dunno about it being an H-model...

I think it is an A-model ... the one they have displayed is 49-1067...then again don't they have one with the skin off too?

I'm not sure 100%, since I don't have the serial Number, But I think it is the A Model that the New England Air Museum had for many years.
It's a Korean War vet with the 4th FG, notice the yellow stripes around the fuselage.
It was returned to the Air Force and NEAM got the F-86 that had been on loan to the Champlin Museum.

Not 100% sure on this because it's been a while since I actually laid eyes on the airframe, but I'm about 65% sure it's the one. I'll try to dig up some slides of it in storage.
