The world's most meticulously restored L39C is now on Ebay. Come and check out the pics and the story of how it got from the Ukraine to the USA, and the team from Haracov Ukraine that spent 3600 hours restoring it to perfection. Plane never used for aerobatics in the Ukraine - it was a camera chase plane. Only 150 hours on the engine. The auction ends on September 24 at 4:00. Interested? The link is

Sexiest? Russian? Fighter?

Where do you get your information?

Certainly nice to look at, but not sexy.
Built in Czechoslovakia, not in Russia (although served with the Russian AF).

Fighter? Armed trainer is more like it.

There has to be something here that I "don't get!!" : )

I find women to be sexy; but I do not find objects to be sexy; isn't that what a fetish is? : )

Saludos!

Not very historic, but great fun if you get an offer of a ride! :D ;) As much fun as you can have in a small jet I'd say.
I've been shown about 6 which are 'the best...'

Sexy. Hmmm. It's good looking, for a plane. I think it's a loose use of the term, Tulio. Anyway, what's a boy in Texas going on about fetishes for? I've seen the hats they wear there! ;)

Oh, Lord! Don't let me be misunderstood!! Just joking, OK?

****************

Pardner, hat's ain't nuthin' , you should see them spurs and them beltbuckles them cowboys wear down home in Texas! Yeeeehaaaaw!!!!

Ain't nothing sexy 'bout them, nor there's any of them "feet-chises" involved in, ya'll hear now?

It is a BLASPHEMY to call any airplane Sexy. Everybody knows, from the time they are in their momma's bellies, that the only airplane DESERVING of such an appelative, is the almighty, unique and quasi-orgasmic North American P-51 Mustang!!!!

There,

Bye now!

Hey, Pardner, don't get me riled, or it's warm beer for you... ;)

Tweed chaps. What a particularly unpleasent thought.

The Avatar. No common Spitfire my friend - MUCH rarer. And I've flown in one too :D :D :D

I won't mention the extendable shorts of Robbo. Let's get back to the L-39. Nice plane. ;)
