That is classic. Don't feel bad man, I am from Pittsburgh, and we have our own language here as well. 'nat is a big one here. Meaning and that.

Example: "Hey man, where are you going?"
" I am going to the store and 'nat."

I went to Oshkosh one year, and my bddy and I were joking around, and I told him to stop being a jag. Someone over heard and thought we were nuts. They asked what in the world a jag was. I told them what it was, and they understood. Then my bud called me a sped. Sometimes I think Pittsburgh people are a different breed.
