Single seat jet would be a F9F-2 Panther.

Multi seat (for the wife) would be a F3D-2 Sky Knight. Something out of the norm.

OV-10 Bronco.
My Dad flew them in SE Asia and I'd love to have an OV-10 in his VMO-2 Colors. Maybe one of the ex German Target tugs..
Come on Powerball numbers....

Hadn't thought of turboprops. In that case, I'll revise my answer. No question about it, my choice would be the OV-1 Mohawk.

As much as I like to get my hands on an A-37B, I would also like to have a Grumman F-9 Panther/Cougar, and more even so if it has the photo nose! I have always had a soft spot for this particular jet.

Hi guys--

I'd have to go with our homegrown Avro Canada CF-100. Truth told, given the fact that Orendas still run (and hence are still being overhauled) on Sabres, and that the "Clunk" is built like a bridge and a good number have survived...for someone with a ton of cash (not I!) and an interest in RCAF history, I wonder if this might be possible...An interesting second choice would be an RCN F2H-3 Banshee.

Other jets of which I'm fond for one reason or another...F9F, F-84, F7U, P-80, Meteor, F-105, F-101. And the HP Victor, which looks so "sci-fi". Then there's the Arrow, of course...

Turboprops? How about a Westland Wyvern S.4...That could be a thread on its own.

From the realm of the obscure, the grandaddy of the B-2, the Horten Ho-IX (Gotha Go 229A-01). But a bit more realistic, it would have to be a TA-4 preferably a K, but a two seater Scooter will be just fine.

Better late than never!!!!
The CA-27 Sabre, produced by the Commonwealth Aircraft Factory, was a uniquely Australian version that adapted the basic F-86 Sabre airframe to the Rolls Royce Avon turbojet engine.
Although the standard Sabre and the Avon Sabre look superficially similar, the changes required to fit the Avon engine meant that only 40% of the original fuselage structure remained.
The installation of two 30mm Aden cannon in place of the machine gun armament of the North American version also required some modifications.

The Canadair Sabres also had an Avon, the Orenda engine was a licensed-built Avon, thoroughfully enhanced by the excellent Canuck engineers!
