Yup, that's the BATF for ya. "Now that we've completely dismantled your company's assets, do you have a license for those, er...um...little steel tubes over there?" I suppose these guys haven't been to an air show at any point in their lives or they'd know half the warbird owners in the country have long been sporting gun & bomb racks, rocket hard points, and every other type of surplus military hardware short of live guns and actual explosives. For the sake of all this hubub, I hope gov.org has some other cards up their sleeve besides that.
The media really is a hoot sometimes. The entire focus of the article and the investigation seems to be based on the anecdotal allegations of some dupe employee of another company. The only indictment so far is for steel tubes? They could at least throw in an allegation for supposed Yellow Cake possession for good measure.
