We got into the swing of things a couple of years back with our van at the museum in Ft Worth. The swing took us right over the edge into the deep with you!! Kewl!! JR

A turret has been discussed. They are great for parting heavy Houston traffic.
The truck has oil stains already. This thing runs great, but blows oil out of every possible seal. The tail gate and the entire bottom of the truck get a daily rust proofing- as well as anyone that tailgates me. I love watching people tailgate me and then have to pull over because of the oil spray that they tried to smear off with their windshield wipers. I'm thinking of installing a small compressed air bottle with filthy oil in it and a spray nozzle under my bumper just to give tailgaters a little extra something for their efforts. The engine blows about 4 quarts on the average 250 mile trip- but luckily it holds twelve quarts. 12 valve Cummins diesel engines are known for the constant oil leaks.

Sounds like a proper radial to me. Great work. Can't wait to see it all gussied up with the suggested additions (which I wholly support) to really give it some of those details most miss even on the real airplanes (and would make a good reason to teach them that they actually are on the real airplanes too.

I finally figured out what nose art to paint on the truck today. I've crossed the 600,000mile barrier now and the front main seal is spitting oil out at a pretty good rate now. I went to lower the tailgate today and noticed tons of oil that has spewed all over. I washed the oil off and went to town painting. This is what I came up with. It was dark here by the time I finished the lettering that was painted on a dip in the body lines. The lettering isn't as wavy in person as it appears in these photos and the colors are much better in the daylight. I also splattered two pit bulls(accidently) in the past two weeks, so......
