Lots to pick from here but the first Cold War aircraft
that has to be on the list for me is the

U-2.

You can't talk Cold War without mentioning it.

O.k here goes,

I had to think about this and I have made some assumptions;
Assumption #1. budget no issue, therefore a/c to be indoors.
Assumption #2. Museum is in the U.S, therefore U.S bias on a/c.
Assumption #3. modification of a surviving a/c to a different varient is ok.
A/C in bold are as per list of 'already haves'.

The Hairy Dwarfs Cold War Museum

Yak-23, P-80 (converted from T-33), Mig-15, F-84, Mig-17, F-86, Mig-19, F-100, Mig-21, F-4.
These aircraft are to be displayed either side of a gallery(hall) opposite their contempary.
