Don't forget about Warbird Weekend coming up at The Tennessee Museum of Aviation, April 9-10 there will be some "Cool" Fighters flying that weekend, and you should check out the Museum, and the Gift Shop will have some new shirts and decals, and things for all you P-47 Buffs. So if you are on your way to Sun-N-Fun stop on in.

Just like Hun Hunter but number 44. Looks so good with both flying in formation done up from the 57th.

Mike,

Very interesting info - is it a temporary paint scheme or not? BTW, I would be very pleased to see some photos of the 2 Jugs :D!

John Shoffners P-47 is painted as Lt. John Hare from the 57th FS and the name on the side is "Wicked Wabbit" . we have to add some more lettering, and the paint scheme will be complete. This is really "Cool" a pair of matched P-47's from the same Squadron flying in airshows. You can see both of these P-47 at the Planes of Fame Airshow coming up in May. Also Bill Klaers P-47, POF P-47, and Bob Ponds P-47 will be at the Chino show as well. 5 P-47's in one spot.
