Tell me about the Hellcat

I want to learn about this plane but there is limited information. I came across what is supposedly a rare auto-pilot system for a hellcat that was created right after the war to automate these planes. I have the thing in its original military packaging with the installation tools and the supply requisition slip. I had the part identified by a man who works an aviation museum in Seattle. He couldn't legally tell me if it was worth anything.

You may have the only one. It is either priceless or worthless depending on who or if anyone wants it. I can assure you the market is extremely limited.

How would one go about selling such a thing?

Put an ad up on www.BARNSTORMERS.com. Be sure to list it in the WARBIRD section, and pay the few bucks
to post a couple pictures.
