T-28

Jack, I remember a few years back someone was reputed to have spent about $400k on a T-28. It was a nice restoration, but I don't think it brought the value anywhere up to the P-51. etc. range. If he actually spent a millon, maybe he got the airport with it and a dozen brand new Merlins as part of the deal! At that time I think you could have bought an average Fury for half a million. One thing to keep in mind is that there are asking prices and selling prices and the lavish description "all new, zero time, best ever" by the seller may have at least a bit of artist license. I think there is quite a premium and some buyers may be willing to pay it for the extra finish details of an Osh quality winner.

Sorry Mustangdriver, it took me this long to reply,

They were also known as "The Wolf Pack"

Of course I would need to get a gun nose and an authentic "flat" paint job, but "Caroline Girl" would be perfect!

Anyone have any better pics of a Wolf B-25?

???
