A copy of "The Defender"
Undoubtedly the lamest thing I've seen in many a year.
I don't mean to ruffle the elevators of Bob Diemert's friends...BUT...Look in the dictionary under "Obsessive-Compulsive" and his picture will be there.
And he kept fighting "city hall" when he KNEW he had no chance of winning.
"WEAR THE FREAKIN' PARACHUTE!!"
Over and over he kept trying to tell the "powers that be" how they should run their department. OK...granted, these guys were typical bureaucrats, but Diemert never seemed to learn that it's "their way or the highway".
Plus that fact that even I could see that his contraption was never gonna' get off the ground. I don't know much about aerodynamics, but would that same engine placed in front have given him more air over the wings and decreased his take-off speed?
