Sure, come on out to Austin Acres Wildlife Refuge, Petting Zoo, Aircraft Tours and Canoe Rentals, and we'll sit around the pond, light candles, and pray all night to the Gods that allow planes to float to the surface of Austin Lake. That IS what cults do, right?

I believe that 100 octane is the preferred drink of aviation cultists. Just sit back and take a whiff of that aroma!

You know, that is actually not a bad idea at all! I haven't really had any folks over since I bought the place nearly a year ago now, so a WIX gathering would be great. Y'all just bring the food, beverages, barbeque grill, ice, coolers, lawn furniture, bug spray, and snake repellent, and it'll be quite the event!

No tools allowed.

Cheers, Alan

Hmmm, good point. Reckon I just haven't had enough time (or money) for them lately. If you bring some, just make sure they have low standards.

I am sure there is a fine young filly out there Gary, who will be mightily impressed when you give them the back lot tour....

'Say is that a PBY y'all have parked there? Gee I have always wanted to have a closer look at one.....' :P

By the way have you ever seen a programme on the BBC called Top Gear?
The latest episode featured the presenters driving three old wrecks from Florida to New Orleans and on the way they painted slogans on their cars to try to get a reaction.....If I ever make it to the States, my uncle lives up north in Sheboygan WI, I will be sure not mention ,Hilary Clinton, Man Love and say that Nascar sucks, they were not popular dudes!

Sorry for the digression, your comment about low standards hit a funny bone.

Let's have the event there in April, right around the time of the LSFM airshow, 'cause that's when I will be in TX, and it is all about me after all!

Just kidding... but I like the idea of TX! :D

MAN...Talk about disappointed. From the title of this thread, I expected to see Gary in some risqué outfit.

Mudge the voyeur
