I'm just glad to see it's in the air and not parked in a museum for good

I see worse everyday - I just try not to rip my jeans on it as I walk past it in the morning! :D

I'd take it....I've got a compressor and a spray gun....or I can get a polisher, let me check my Home Depot credit card balance. I would fly like it is......Tom

Hey Paul,

Yeah, I agree but until I have one that looks better sitting in my hanger, sumbitch still has me beat.

Hope things are going well for you my friend. PM me.

Plan here is T-6 if all goes well. Paul, "T-33 Driver" is really bustin' his tushy to help me get in the air. He's a pretty cool Dude for a retired AF brat. Gave me some stick time in the back seat of the "Bird" and I held my own (for a rookie). Will keep you advised of progress. Got a little 182 time with his hanger mate this weekend. Cool stuff!

Your friend,
Scott

I like the paint job. Its better to have variety than all bare metal.

Though I gotta say, Olive Drab on the bottom doesnt work.

at least it's not super-glossy, with a giant shark's mouth...

You mean like a P-40? :Hangman:

While I don't think it is the sharpest one I've seen it also not the worst.
I have to respect the rights of hte guy that puts the money and hard work into keeping her in the air to paint her anything he wants.

Do we know for sure that there isn't some sort of historical precedence for this paint scheme??

Steve

What's with the short cockpit conversion ?

What's with the short cockpit conversion ?

Sprayer of some sort :?:

If the case, it's still a cool paint job to buzz around the fields.
