Holy Hell. man I so barely remember that. Hmm I wonder why it didn't click when I saw the article. My wife will be the first to tell ya that my memory is very selective.

Anyways sorry for the confusion. Still it's a nice looking example of the 190 and I would very much like to see more detailed pictures of it when it's all cleaned up.

In the article it stated that they have dismantled the aircraft and placed the assemblies into a tanks of electrolitic(?) to remove the salts.

It was also interesting to learn that although it was upgraded to a A-3 it still retained the Louvered panel on side of the aircraft. Which I'm guessing were later replaced on other FW 190s.

Still a very neat time capsule. Makes you wonder what else lies in waiting in those waters. A JU88, HE111 and now a FW190 what's next?
