For pure aesthetics, I agree -- but, if I were taking one into combat I think I'd want the greater visibility of that bubble canopy.

I thought I read somewhere that this bird can be converted to a single canopy configuration rather easily. Is that true or am I remembering wrong?

| A-36 | XP-51 | P-51A | P-51B | P-51C | P-51D | P-51H | P-51K | F-6K | Cavalier | PA-48 | CAC | F-82 |????

No XP-51s, Enforcers, or P-82s airworthy at the moment.

Wasn't there some wreckage of an XP-51G around somewhere too?

I talked to Bud Anderson, and he said that he never noticed a difference in preformance between the razorback P-51's and the D models. I would like to see one of the B or C models done up as Shangri La. Princess was at one time.
