It's a little easier to "restore" an airplane like NEAM's B-29 when you have money, volunteers, some spares, AND it's not gong to be an airworthy restoration! They got the backing ($) from the 58th Bombardment Wing and their entire archives are now part of NEAM's collection.
She's beautiful, but forever ground bound.

I could not believe how far they have come with it last time I saw it. I remember seeming it in the early 90's, I had a film camera and I think I decided not to "waste" a picture on it. :? :? Waste what the Heck was I thinking!
