Anybody know where I can get videos of 12 O'Clock High TV show episodes? I especially like the first couple of seasons with Robert Lansing as General Savage.

I actually ordered the set from these idiots on December 8th for $199 plus shipping. I never got the set. When I complained, they gave me all kinds of lame excuses, most of them centering around the unreliability of Canada Post (and just for the record, I've *never* had a problem receiving letters and packages mailed to me from Canada!). After they stopped returning my phone calls and emails, I called Citibank (this was last week) and had the charge reversed on my MasterCard. Two days later, I got an email from TVDVDPlanet saying that they had issued me a credit. Too late, chumps!

There is someone here in the States who is selling the set for $249. I haven't ordered it, but I'm thinking about it. Here's the link to their site:

http://bygonevideo.com/DVDNOW/12_o.htm

If anyone does buy this set, please let us know how the transaction goes and how the quality is.

Cheers!

I just got my copy for Christmas. My wife bought it from Historic Aviation but it took 2 months to receive the DVD.

Trust Me, get a set from this place. An Excellent Quality set:

http://www.ioffer.com/i/15130996

He has almost 400 positive feedbacks with only 2 negatives.

I actually used to sell "12 O'Clock High" DVD sets Myself. Believe it or not, Actor Paul Burke Himself (The Star of the Show) called Me on the phone one afternoon. He asked if He could order a set. Ha! Ha! You can just imagine how surprised I was!! It was really wierd, I felt like I was talking to the TV set. We had a great chat & I sent Him a set for Free...
I asked Him about His A2 Jacket He wore in the series. He said it was custom made. After the series, He gave it to His nephew.
The kid wore it to High School for one day before it was stolen!! ... Digger

Is it a good series? I never saw it. Good b-17 footage?

One of the B-17s used in the TV series is still out at the Chino Cal airport.
I hear there is a group trying to get her restored. I guess the show was ok but it was a long time ago. The flying was pretty much stock footage as I recall. By the way mustang driver is P-51D 45-11464 yours? I don't think I have ever seen her. Is she under restoration?

I wish she was mine, but no. It belongs to a friend of mine. It is under restoration, but since the loss of his medical will more than likely be sold. I will keep you all posted. I am going to order the Series for 80.00 A great deal I think.

I don't see 45-11464 listed in the registry. Can you provide us Mustang nuts with some info?

If You liked the Movie, You'll love the show. If You like lots of B-17 Action, I'm sure You'll be pleased with the set. They use alot of stock footage, just like the movie, but it blends in fine with the show. Yes, $80 is a great deal. That's about $1 a show. Hell, I used to pay $10 per episode on VHS!! There's also a great New Book called "THE 12 O'CLOCK HIGH LOGBOOK". It's illustrated with over 400 pages & completely covers the Book, Film & TV Series. It also has a complete episode guide with lots of interesting info about each show.
You can get it at Amazon:
