Could it be a Paul Bowen shot, that's where my $ is going

Wed Feb 21, 2007 4:44 pm

Trey...the properties on the pic say it was taken with a Nikon D70 on May 20,2005....not Mr Bowens....definately taken at Chino 2005 though.

My first guess was Britt Dietz but I think he's a Canon guy and there aren't any pics like this on the POF site anyway. And he watermarks his pics.

How did you get to see those file properties?

Not all four are owned by the Paul family... the third is AK940, owned by Tony Banta, and the fourth is PoF's P-40N.

The image is included in the current Golden Age of Flight Wall Calendar and the photogs are listed as Phil Wallick, Bill Crump, and Check Six.

So how many two-seaters exist? Sorry, I assume that is a trainer variant or is that a post war mod after radio gear is removed?

Thanks "WIX Brain"

"How did you get to see those file properties?

Hi August

Save the picture and open it in any program like Photoshop or Firehand Ember and select File-Properties-More (for Firehand) or in PS File-File info-Camera Data.

I've attached 2 screen shots.

In this instance, if I were any of the photographers or the producer of the calendar, I'd view it as good publicity... and I agree that this photo is too-cool.
