I am looking for pictures of tail wheels of the following planes:
- Dornier 17
- Dornier 215
- Heinkel 111

If you look at the pictures on this site you will see a tail wheel of a german plane (maybe a Messerschmitt Bf 110)
This wheel comes from a crashed plane in Dreumel (The Netherlands).

I hope someone can give me some information.
Thanks!

Interesting story. The site says it must be from a plane that crashed in the "uiterwaarden" (the area between the river and the winter dike that is allowed to flood) during May 1940.
The text says there have been battles in the area on the 11th of May when Dutch troops retreated by ship bridges near Tiel and Dreumel to blockhouse Holland. It does not have a ball bearing but a glide bearing.

There are a few planes shot down during the begin of the war at that location. But most of the planes crashed at the north side of the river Waal.
The wheel comes from a plane that crashed at the south side.
We are trying to find out from which plane the wheel is.
