This is just a total guess, but could it possibly be a Aichi D3A1? If not its rather close to one.

I'm gonna' guess a Nakajima Ki-27b. Although it is more likely the Aichi D3A1.

A Mabel is a rare one indeed. I have several pretty good reference books and only one even mentioned it and that was about all it did.
The B5M, according to "The Encyclopedia of Aircraft" Thunder Bay Press, 2004 said that it was a competing design to the B5N Kate. Obviously, Mabel wasn't a real popular girl since Nak built over 1,100 Kates and Mister Bushy only built 125 Mabels. "They saw some action in China."
Obscure all markings and it looks like a BT-13 with a suspension lift kit.
Thanks for enlightening us to a rare bird.

Actually, it looks more like a Mitsubishi Ki-30 Type 97 (ANN) to me; they made about 600.
