Mustangs are okay and do sound purty and all but for raw muscle you can't beat a Thunderbolt :supz: Tarheal Hal sure looks good next to that F4

The P-51 with invasion stripes is Jim Beasley's.

The chequered-nose Mustang is Tom Friedkin's ex-Bolivian AF Cavalier TF-51 67-14866 / N20TF, based at Chino.

So I take it that 'Princess Elizabeth' didn't make it - I believe Jim Beasley was hoping to have it there.

"Princess Elizabeth" may have been here, but I didn't see it when I was watching from PASM. The same for the P-38 from Chino. It is supposed to be here, but I didn't seee ot/

The base is only open to active and retired military. They could go over to the flight line. We had to watch from off base and we did not know when they would fly. when one took off by us we would then know the ones flying.

Hopefuly someone will post all that were in attendence.

Princess E is arriving in Houston via boat on March 6. It will go by truck to Chino for assembly.
