This is the same clip as posted up top, except that this person added the landing at the gas station to the second half of the clip.

I was a teenager when that movie came out. It's what caused the P-40 to become one of my favorite warbirds. Too bad the movie bombed at the box office. The movie is funnier than hell. I bought the DVD.

Has to be an ALL time Favorite!!! :D

"SHOW ME YA GUNS!!!, Ya know ....YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!

Here at the IAH airport in Houston there is a "aviation" themed bar. They have old Flying Tigers cargo signs, a huge Spitfire painting behind the bar. There is also a gigantic 5't x 5' poster of Lt. "Wild" Bill Kelso! Ive heard numerous $$ offers to buy it, but Aviators wont sell it.

I love the guys with the AA gun that shoot down the aircraft. The one guy has a spotter book and he says,"It's a Japanese Zero" he turns tha page in the book and says, "Or a P-40!"

""I think your gonna miss 'em Ward".

I love that whole sequence where Ned Beatty is trying to sink the I-19 with that 40mm.

As for the guy's on the roof with the 40mm. That was Micheal McKean as Willy and David L. Lander as Joe. You might know them better as Lenny and Squiggy from the old tv show Laverne and Shirley.
