I just looked up T-37A 54-2732 which is currently undergoing restoration at MAPS. It is the 4th of 11 in the original preproduction batch as bought by the USAF. If I read "Cessna Warbirds" by Walt Shiel correct we have the ( other than prototypes) 4th T-37A ever built, and possibly the oldest survivor!

Its not the oldest survivor. Older ones are:
54-0717 - hulk stored in the PoF yard at Chino (last noted May05).
54-0718 - preserved Mid America Air Museum, Liberal KS (l/n Oct03).
54-2729 - preserved Columbus AFB MS (l/n Oct06).
54-2730 - preserved Randolph AFB TX (l/n Nov05).
