Here it is March already & winter maintenance & inspection about to rap up for the BAHF C54. Run up & leak checks are to be done Tomorrow Sat 3/10 & test flight early next week. If all goes well after test flight, then the C54 <Spirit Of Freedom> next weekend will be heading down south to FLA & then Puerto Rico for their kick off schedule of the 2007 airshow season. This is a special event & cerimonies to take place with our C54 museum at the reunion of the RAMEY AFB Historical Foundation. Many years ago the C54/R5Ds were part of the RAMEY AFB operations & missions. The BAHF C54/R5D <Spirit Of Freedom> Keeps the Legacy alive & brings the sounds & site of Big radial engines back to the skies once again! :Keep the Big Pistons Flying!
